Person To Person (PTP for short) addresses your need for privacy and confidentiality. And more to the point, it addresses your need to securely send data over the web via email. You can use the PTP tool to encrypt email messages and to encrypt email attachments. By doing so you ensure that nobody can snoop on you, that your emails remain private and confidential.

Person To Person can integrate with the Outlook email client. The setup wizard that helps you install PTP on your Windows PC will offer to integrate it with Microsoft Outlook. It must be mentioned here that PTP can integrate with any Outlook edition from Outlook 2003 up to Outlook 2013.

Access to PTP’s interface is password protected. This is nice because it means that you and you alone have access to PTP’s interface. Another nice thing is the fact that you won’t have to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to the aforementioned interface. You won’t have any problems using it to access all the functionality that PTP has to offer.

Speaking about functionality, here’s a quick look at the main features and functions PTP has to offer: it integrates with Windows Explorer (you’ll see a Person to Person option in the right click context menu); encrypt, encrypt & email; sign, sign & email; add data to a vault; import and export contacts; Microsoft Outlook integration; access to the PTP interface is password protected; and more.

It must be mentioned that several Person To Person editions are available: Free, Standard, Email, Pro. A chart that presents the differences between these editions is available here.

The trial version of PTP is limited to 20 operations.

Keep your important data safe and your emails private. Use the Person To Person (PTP) email encryption solution to encrypt email messages and/or attachments.

Pros

Installing PTP is an effortless task. PTP integrates with Microsoft Outlook (any edition from Outlook 2003 onward). Access to PTP’s interface is password protected. Use PTP to encrypt email messages and/or attachments. Several PTP editions are available.

Cons

Trial limitations: the trial version of PTP is limited to 20 operations.
